Dine at Outlaw's Seafood & Grill for just £20

New set menu

The recently opened Outlaw’s Seafood and Grill at The Capital, located in Knightsbridge, is now offering a great value set lunch menu from Monday to Friday, 12pm – 2.30pm. Guests can enjoy 2 courses of sustainably sourced seafood and seasonal cuts of meat for just £20 per person, or 3 courses priced at £25 per person. All dishes have been created by Nathan Outlaw and his head chef, Pete Biggs, using ingredients from Cornwall and elsewhere in the UK. For more information visit www.capitalhotel.co.uk

The menu will change regularly to reflect the best seasonal produce, featuring starters such as Cornish fish soup; Pickled herrings with cucumber and dill dressing; or homemade black pudding with apple and celeriac. Main dishes may include lemon sole fillets with chestnut mushrooms, parsley dumplings or lemon and garlic; Roasted cod with beetroot, accompanied by a red wine tartare dressing; or char-grilled pork chop with cabbage, sage and peppercorn sauce. Those looking to indulge can enjoy desserts including poached quince, rice pudding and gingerbread or chocolate mousse with vanilla ice cream. A selection of cheeses will also be available and is presented with homemade crackers and chutney.

With the hotel holding the AA notable wine list 2012 award, the wine list has been taken from the legendary cellar of David Levin, including a selection of bottles from his own vineyard in the Loire Valleys.

Outlaw’s Seafood and Grill is set in newly refurbished surroundings, which echo the simple cooking ethos that makes Nathan one of the most celebrated seafood chefs in the UK. Interiors by Nina Campbell reflect the casual sophistication of the menu with subtle references to the sea and Nathan’s philosophy of fuss-free cooking.

The hotel itself is a family run enterprise, still overseen by owner David Levin and managed by his daughter Kate. Following a classic British design it exudes warmth and exclusivity, offering luxury accommodation and personalised service, just minutes from Harrods, Harvey Nichols and Hyde Park.
