To celebrate the reunion concerts of comedy legends Monty Python,The Rib Room Bar & Restaurant in Knightsbridge, London is serving up something completely different.
The bastion of British cuisine has created a tribute to one of Monty Python’s most famous sketches: The Cleeseburger, named after Python John Cleese, is available now at The Rib Room Bar for £14, along with other dishes given the full Monty treatment.
“Monty Python is a great British institution, very much like The Rib Room Bar, so it is a pleasure to show our appreciation for their comedy genius,” said Michele Caggianese, manager of The Rib Room Bar & Restaurant.
Other dishes on the menu of mirth include The Meaning Of Life, The Full Monty, and What Did The Romans Ever Do For Us.
“After careful consideration, we decided not to serve Salmon Mousse, and wafer-thin mints will not be offered to Bar guests at the end of their meal,” added Caggianese.
The Monty Python Menu at The Rib Room Bar runs until 20 July - or until they run out of Spam.
