Sitting quietly on the border with Epping Forest, leafy, suburban Chingford can’t seem to decide whether it wants to be in Essex or not. Those living in semi-rural northern Chingford believe they have more in common with the Essex countryside, while others screech at the suggestion of any comparison to their much maligned eastern neighbour. It’s a hotly debated issue, however one of the main reasons people seem to choose to live here is to get away from the hustle and bustle of London once they’ve made their money - oh and, did we mention there is a Chingford Masonic Group?
