This north west London suburb is home to a sizeable Asian community as well as young families and professionals who find they can get more value for their money here than in inner London districts. The vast majority of the properties here are three bedroom semis, and many of the streets are wide and leafy. It’s a typical suburb, i.e. largely residential with few recreational activities, however its claim to fame is having once been home to the Oldfield Tavern which counted The Who as regular performers in their early days. Greenford has a tube station on the Central Line, however it covers such a wide postcode area that there are various railway stations serving the district.
