Highbury

Highbury is part of the London Borough of Islington and has a large young professional contingent, drawn to the area for its good transport links yet relatively friendly and laid back attitude.

Highbury is located between other equally popular northern districts including Finsbury Park, Islington, Holloway and Stoke Newington.

As well as being a popular residential area, Highbury has also featured highly in London based films including Four Weddings and a Funeral, Fever Pitch and Killing Her Softly. Highbury was also the location where the character Mr Bean lived!

Today, Highbury is a mix of professionals, students and social housing residents leading to a multicultural and relaxed atmosphere.
