Vast sections of South London remain unknown and unexplored by North Londoners due to their lack of a tube, which has resulted in both parties turning their noses up at each other when given the opportunity. It’s a shame, as there is plenty on offer south of the river. Norwood is no exception, and it’s characterised by green spaces, wide tree-lined streets and attractive Victorian housing. Both West Norwood and Upper Norwood are residential, middle class areas, and while there may be little in terms of entertainment in the area people are drawn to living here as they can get more for their money.
