Home to Wembley Stadium and Wembley Arena, this suburb in north west London has traditionally been considered deprived, however the arrival of the aforementioned landmarks along with a number of new retail units is set to change all this. New apartment blocks are in the process of being built but most of the housing was developed in the 1930s; homes remain relatively affordable making it a good area for first time buyers to look in to. Suburban in character, Wembley is home to a large Asian population, therefore there are many shops and restaurants selling Indian food and wares.
