Mmmm. Steak.
From the hefty porterhouse to the more nimble fillet, the steaks at Sophie's are made from British beef and dry aged for 28 days. This restaurant may have been overshadowed by Hawksmoor, but it's still consistently good. Eat here during the day or after 10 pm on a weekday and a three course meal with steak frites as the main is just £16.

I am a regular client. The atmosphere is great, the food and cocktails tasty. Would highly recommend!

This is now my my pre and post theatre staple. You can always get a table, the steak is reliably delicious and the atmosphere is sophisticated without being too manic. Rump steak for under a tenner and a glass or two of crisp Sagres beer. Beats the last few plays I've seen. Michael Stevenson, London
