Stick & Bowl is a well established noodle-house with faithful clientele. It always seems to be busy, but table availability is quick which merely reflects the speed of their service. A takeaway service is also available.

Who can resist oodles of noodles?
This no-frills Cantonese noodle house has a very loyal crowd of followers. Popular dishes include Singapore fried noodles and the filling Stick & Bowl noodle soup, with chicken, pork, seafood and vegetables. If you don’t feel like sitting at one of the communal tables you can get food to go instead.

We too have been frequenting this excellent establishment for some 20 years, in fact, once some silly girls tried to push in front of us in the (small, at lunch hour) queue arguing that they were regulars - couldn't stop laughing as we told them that half the clientele there is!
Singapore fried noodles, roast duck (off the bone), lemon chicken, is our recommendation. Brilliant for quick lunch, early, or late, dinner.
Its been the same staff working it all these years so they must have something good going on in that place. Introduced the rest of our family to it and it is not un-common to find that they go there straight off the plane before even coming to us. Or it is what they want to do next when they do turn up. Wagamama's opened across the road some years ago now but I doubt that has made any kind of dent in the business enjoyed by Stick & Bowl - and deservedly so.

Been going here regularly for the last 19 years, having been introduced to it by my (then) Filipina girlfriend. Mow my wife, (same one!!) and we still enjoy a meal there regularly. I always have the Chicken Curry and Lychees drink - FABULOUS - it is THE best Chinese curry I have ever, ever had. Lovely staff, and very reasonable, a lively, fun little place. Its a shame I could not give it 11 out of 10 - its worth it.
