Had a takeaway and they forgot half our order... and the rest was cold. I wouldnt recommend this place as we had to wait in there an extra half hour when arriving to pick up the order as they just didnt no what they were doing. The woman did apologise but didnt really seem bothered that we had to return the food and did not offer to re cook our meal.

We went as a family party (no kids) of 12 to celebrate a birthday, what a marvellous time we had. The food was great and didn't stop arriving, course after course. You could ask for more of one type, less of another. Nothing was any trouble for the very quick and efficient waiting staff. We pre-booked during the week and they phoned to confirm the booking was still going ahead on the day. They were happy to deal with the birthday cake we bought, music and happy birthday tunes were played constantly throughout the evening. There were several parties going on and everyone seemed to enjoy their experience. This is our 2nd visit in 5 years, but we won't wait 5 years to go again. £15.95 for the 'eat what you like' buffet was excellent value and absolutely delicious. Drinks were extra of course, but that is expected. I particularly enjoyed the varied starters, so many to chose from, everything well cooked and beautifully flavoured. The buffet is cheaper on week days and they had a busy take-away service too. All in all, we had a great night, and highly recommend it to chinese food lovers everywhere.

A truly fantastic gem of a restaurant. My wife and I have been here very many times and cannot get enough of it... I personally often prefer to try different restaurants when we go out, but as the food here is so enjoyable and affordable it is often just so easy to choose to go there again and again.. The buffet menu is truly awesome... I have been to a few other buffet restaurants and this one truly comes near to the top of my favourites list.. The starters consist of a lot of different items that you might expect to find in any good chinese restaurant and just like any buffet restaurant you can request more of anything that you like before the next courses and or during the rest of your meal....
The restaurant is a pleasantly clean and brightly lit and has a great atmosphere... The staff are generally quite helpful and on the ball...
the buffet menu is a set price per person for all you can eat and you pay for whatever drinks you have with your meal seperately...
I would strongly recommend this restaurant to any persons wishing to find a nice affordable restaurant for either a romantic meal for two or even for large parties... quite often you can simply just walk in without an appointment but to avoid disappointment i would suggest that you call in advance to book a table...
Happy eating to you all :-)
Although I have only given 8 out of 10 as a rating, please dont think that that means anythiing negative, I have never had a bad meal from there

I have been here so many times i can no longer count on my fingers and toes! This restaurant is GREAT value for money and the food is amazing! They are very generous with the duck and the dish statues made from vegetables are very sweet.

They have swapped management since i started going and more recently this is noticable. The waitors are now more clumsy and also slower. One Waitress in particular ignored my table quite obviously. The manager however is a VERY lovely lady and apologised profoundly and gave our table two bottles of wine to show how sorry she was.

I will still go back again and again. Its has a brilliant decor and layout. Other than a the waitors ignorance the last few times this is an amazing restaurant!
Have your say
