Quo Vadis is one of those places that seems to have been around forever, it’s part of the furniture, so to speak. Founded in 1926, it has had illustrious owners like Marco Pierre White and Damien Hirst. Since 2007 it has been owned by Sam and Eddie Hart.

In 2012 they made some changes, the restaurant was refurbished and a bakery was added; they also started opening for breakfast every day. More importantly, chef Jeremy Lee joined after 16 years at the Blueprint Café. Lee has brought his love of British, hearty foods to Quo Vadis, along with a welcome drop in prices.

As befits a venue of this calibre – Quo Vadis has been going since 1926 – the cocktail list spans all the continents and flavours of the world. We’re particularly taken with their martini-making, which can be tailored according to your preference; options include gin, vodka, extra dry, dirty, twist, rocks, rocks and Gibson.

... does that make sense?

Legendary Quo Vadis has been open since 1926, and is far more famous for its restaurant than its members’ club. Owned by the same people as Barrafina, acclaimed chef Jeremy Lee’s menu features innovative British dishes like baked artichoke stuffed with goat’s cheese, ox liver, and pumpkin rice cakes with squash.
