I have to say I was not impressed at all. Food was overall ok Soup was like a cup of oxo with a lot of chick peas thrown in. Main meal was small and mediocre apart from the chips which were excellent but in short supply. Desert was nice but very small.
The price was way over the top and about 3X what I would expect to pay for that quality of meal. It seems to be for people with more money than sense as there is far better quality much cheaper in the area.
As for a french influence on the meal I doubt whether the chef has crossed the channel in his life
