New Taj Mahal

We came across this restaurant during on of our walks in Mayfair and it was an excellent find too! It was very cosy and nicely decorated and staff were a pleasure. We were lucky to have out food cooked by the owner, which we were told was a rare occasion. Everything we had was delicious with a genuinely nice service. The only drawback was the size. The restaurant only seats about 20 people so we did have to cue a little bit before we got our table. A good tip is to book in advance as it can get extremely difficult to get a table in the evening.

Iv never really seen the Taj mahal restaurant before and this was my first time dining there, first impressions would be it is very nicley decorated, especially the mirrord staircase, this service was fantasic as i got my food on time and the waiters whom work there were very friendly and we all had a laugh together. the food was delicious, they had alot more choice in thier menu compare to the other indian just further up the street, curry tasted the way i expected it to taste not to hot not to spicey....all in all a wonderful atmosphere and a superb dining experiance which will have me deffinatly returning there agan.
