I definitely agree with many of those who gave Sheba a great review. My friends and I went there a few days ago for lunch and had a great time. The food was excellent and the service was good, especially for the price of the 2-course meal. The restaurant itself was very nice and well kept. We highly recommend Sheba and will very likely be back in the near future.

Sheba has some of the best curries in London, the lamb lucknow is deliciously soft and just falls of the bone, the rice is nice and fluffy and nan is perfect. The service is good all in all its homely cooking make it the best indian in London.

I went to Sheba restaurant for lunch today. I use to go into Indian restaurants but this one is the best ! I come from France and I'm sure the staff will see me again. I've never eaten an Indian food like this. Amazing

Went to the restuarant on Saturday. Food was nice but service and the attitude of the staff was appauling. They invited us in off the street and made us fell like a nuisance as soon as we sat down. Would not return or recommend a visit there. As a regular diner in this area there are far nicer restuarants than Sheba on Brick Lane.

I have never been a massive fan of Indian food. I tend to stick to Tandori chicken or a Korma because I'm not good with my spice. I have recently returned from Thailand where I really enjoyed the green curry (spicy for me!) and was told that the reason I enjoyed it was because the spices were fresh - fresh spices do not burn your mouth like powder forms do and they are slightly addictive too.

When I was dragged down Brick Lane and into Sheba I was really sceptical but pleasantly surprised. Although the dishes are obviously very different to Thai food I could tell the spices were fresh.

Anyway, the staff were really friendly and the food was great. I admit I only went for the Tikka Masala but I tasted my friends Dansak and really like it. Had I known how good it was I might have been a little more adventurous with my own order!

I will definitely be going back.

A few days ago I found this great 40% off voucher online and decided to go for lunch with some co-workers to this lovely place on Bricklane.

The staff welcomed us and the owner himself came to the table to take the order. As I learned from the sheba website, the restaurant won a few curry awards and is going to be nominated for UK´s curry award 2009.

Therefore I settled for one of the great great lamb shank curry and lovely salmon tikka a unique dish with lovely taste.

The staff have been wonderful to us they would take no time to come and take our order or give our food. When we finished eating, the owner himself came to the table in order to ask if we were satisfied or if we had any reason for complaining.

But we assured him to be more than satisfied. All of us left happy and we paid less then £8 per head. Worth the visit especially if you're in a large group!

All in all I this is one of the best restaurants in Brick Lane for its food and service.

I went to the restaurant a few days ago with a group of friends. The waiters were very
attentive and gracious and the service was excellent. What impressed me most was the food itself.
I had King Prawn Butterfly as starter which tasted gorgeous, but the real gem of starter was the chicken chat puree ordered by my friend. For my main dish I had lamb shatkora which was delicious. I highly reccomend you trying this dish.
Overall the food quality, service, the taste and the value for money was very good, I will definetly keep going to this nice venue.

I have been to many restaurants in Brick Lane and with great knowledge i can say Sheba currently ranks as the best. Its Always busy and always delivers great tasty dishes. I held my wifes birthday party at sheba and the staff bought her a cake and flowers. The waiter got the whole restaurant to join in to wish her a happy birthday. Great atmosphere, great service, great food you must go there if youre in Brick Lane.
