User Reviews
The food in this place is some of the freshest and tastiest food Ive ever had in any Indian Style Restaurant...its waiters are extremely helpfull and friendly without needing to hover around you all the time. Its very clean and nicely decorated and lots of space so you dont feel you are dinning too close too complete strangers as in some places.
The prices are very reasonable for a CITY square mile business and their Irish coffees are premium rate...Plenty of choice on the menue so it wont get samey with multiple visits...cant recommend it enough, Im a regular!
I went to this restaurant last Friday. I was just walking past i thought i will try it out.I had a lovely experience, the food was excellent and the service was good.
Table for 5 on a Thursday night. We thought we'd try this joint out as we walk past it often to go to Brick lane from Liverpool street stn.
Was a bit busy but we got a table. The food was very good. I had the green chilli chicken was fantastic. Never had it before. Simon had the jalfrezi and yes it was very good. would recommed highly.
dined last night
thouroughly enjoyed the food! try the jalfrezi! i reccomend it.
waiters were very friendly,
downstairs toilets a bit of a let down, tiny dingy toilets.
other then that, the atosphere was good. had a very good night.
I work in UBS around the corner from the restaurant and went over before xmas..one word SH*T! Absolutely terrible service and dire food! Will never go again!
Dined here last night with a friend who had recommended the restaurant. The service was poor to start with but did improve, having said that we were in there early. The food overall was very disappointing, despite ordering a few different vegetable side dishes the best food on offer/eaten was the popadoms & naan bread.
The prices were competetive, however I was very dsiappointed with the overall expierience as was my friend wo had eaten here 2 x weeks previous and could'nt believe how different his expierience was this time around.
When we were paying the bill (by card)the waiter more or less insisted we include a tip which was most annoying as you should receive a tip if deserved and not insist when theres other people within earshot!
Would I go back....Even if the fare on offer was free I would seriously have to consider it?
I dined in the dil chad after 15 years!! and i think the food and place is fantastic.I cant belive that they have been trading for almost 50 years!! good job guys
I recently revisted Dil Chad. The time before in April, we found the standard had dropped dramatically. However, this time (July) it was lovely and could not be faulted.
yum yum and im a very fussy eater when it comes to these things!! food good atmosphere good price very competitive would i go again.. yes .. would i book a party here .. yes collegues will be on thier way looking forward to the next time.thanks for a fun night
