I give it a one star for the service.

We went out of our way to eat at Brick Lane as so many people had recommended we come here for the best Indian.

What a disappointment !!!

We were asked to come in by someone standing on the footpath, the guy was friendly and not too pushy and so we walked in. The service was good but the food was absolutely not Indian. Nothing tasted genuine, nothing was spicy and one of the dishes just had no taste and I am still confused as to what it was.

Perhaps it is because we asked for an assortment which I think they call Thali. I prefer to forget the experience and next time we visit London we'll get a curry somewhere else, definitely NOT Brick Lane!

I gave this restaurant a 10/10.
This was by far the best restaurant that I've ever been to in my entire life.
It definitely tops all the diners in Brick-lane.
The staff are so welcoming and the waiters work at a very quick service.

Me and my best friends dined here on my 21st birthday and it made my day!
Since then I've told all my friends to come and dine here because it was that great!
I was even there when the British singer 'Pixie Lott' came, she must've loved it too otherwise why would she have come in that particular restaurant?

The food was delicious. I want to say to everyone out there that this IS the restaurant that everyone needs to dine in! Absolutely brilliant! Thnakyou to all the staff and waiters there that made my day really really special.

I would rate this resturaunt a 8/10.
It is very professional and the waiters are all very kind and respecting.
we hosted a small party, and it wen on marvellousely.
You should really give this resturaunt a chance Guys because it's really really good.

People are just being racist towards asian men that work there.
But they are genuinely really nice people.

Thankyou for such an amazing time!
I loveeed It !

I would rather give this restaurant no star at all, and certainly never give my money again.
Last night, in a party of nine, I dined at Dawaat after being beckoned from the street by the manager. It was quite late, and approaching midnight, and at first the staff seemed polite and reasonably efficient. As soon as we got our main courses, the waiter started flickering the lights and staring at our party. The plates were whipped away while we were still chewing and then the bill was brought to us before we had even asked. Before any of the party had finished their drinks, we were told to leave as the restaurant closed at mid-night. A fact that the waiter said was ‘obvious…everybody knows that all Indian restaurants close at 12’. The waiter then proceeded to vacuum around us while we put our coats on. At this point we told the waiter that he was extremely rude and should give us back the generous tip that we had given them. The waiting staff denied being given a tip. I simply don’t understand why they would except such a large table into the restaurant if they were not willing to actually serve us. I beg anybody planning a night out in Brick Lane to avoid this restaurant. They simply don’t deserve your custom. Unfortunately, they will probably always be in business because of where they are situated.

This restaurant has abysmal service we waited almost an hour for our food but we took solace in the hope that it may be worth the wait. How wrong could we be. The food was barely edible it is probably the worst Indian meal I have ever eaten. I would highly recommend that you avoid this restaurant at all costs. I eat a lot of Indian food and this is appalling they are taking liberties charging good money for it.

I would not recommend this restuarant, the aweful service and less than competitive prices does not make this a restuarant worth a repeat in my books. On account with the aweful and outdated decor the bathroom was not easily accessiable and the general atmosphere was not friendly.
