I have been to Spicy World many times. Their food is always tasty, service is good, and price is reasonable. Personally I think this is the best Indian restaurant in town. Highly recommended.

Disappointing. Food portions small and expensive. Staff were pushy. Charged £4 for juice without asking for a pint size. Would not recommend

Food was pretty tasty, well spiced currys. Interior was comfy and traditional. Staff were a mixed bag but on the whole polite and attentive. Portions reasonable but not terribly generious. Overall fairly good, always room for improvement

Food is great, however, if you are going with a large group food will be given after a long delay. Or you can order the food before you arrive at the Resturant, so there won't be any delays.

I visited Spicy World in Victoria last night for a mild curry. I ordered the Balti Peshary set meal at £9.95 which included the Balti Peshary, rice, two nans and chutneys. I also had two large cokes. Spicy World is a tiny intimate restaurant, not much bigger than my front room. The service is good and staff very friendly. They have a happy hour between 5:30pm-6:30pm giving a 10% discount. The food was tasty and there was plenty of it. When I was presented with the bill I noticed the 10% discount was missing, £3.95 for a pint of coke was also on the high side. I challenged the bill, pointing out the 10% omission and asking why so much for the coke. I was referred to drinks menu which states coke is £1.75 per glass without advising how big the glass is.
I would recommend Spicy World, but check your bill.
