I have previously been to this restaurant and I food that the food is flavourless and comes in very small portions with prices that are outrageous. It cost me £6.95 for a korma and I got 4 pieces of chicken in a small bowl along with pilau rice that cost £2.10 that came on a small plate. I wouldn't have minded if the food was delicious but it wasn't it had no flavour and It didn't fill me in. At the end of the night when my friends and I paid for the bill the waiter didn't give us back our change he 'asumed' we were giving him a tip. We were shocked by what he did because we did NOT tell him to keep the change and as far as I know you leave tip AFTER paying for bill. Also, food was missing from my doggy bag. I will NEVER go there again. However, the service was very good and sufficient.
Very good, nice food, however one member of staff keeps staring at you. Staff engage in conversation but very nice food.
Superb service, food, best Indian in Croydon with polite staff. :-) definately be going more often.
Zafran very good food been on numerious occasions to Sunday buffet only criticism is one member of staff keeps looking at you while eating.
Zafran is the ideal restaurant...The staff are friendly, the food is delicious and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Its our local, just down the road from where we live, and we can't get enough. If you feel like a good, quality meal out at an affordable price, I can't recommend Zafran highly enough...I'm going again tonight!
Visited this restaurant on a few occasions and must say I was impressed with both the food and service. Not just your average Indian but lots of varied items on the menu, different starters and main courses which you don't get at the usual Indian restaurant. Top marks!
Food was delicious staff were very polite and chatty, very friendly atmosphere.
Have your say
