Thinking "you can't go wrong with Italian" was a mistake in this case. My son and I had two small bowls of below average pasta, a glass of wine and a coke for £24.80. I know its central London, but the food was nowhere near worth the money.
There was a 12% service charge added to the bill, despite the very average service. This was explained to me in a curt manner when I questioned the amount we were being charged.
This restaurant needs to buy fresh food, a complete re-furbishment, different menu/chef/waiters, chraging policy. I could go on and on..
Also, I cannot confirm that it was because of the food, but I was unwell the day after eating here and can think of no other source.
I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

I have said this is a negative comment, because although on the whole the food is well-priced, and tastes good, I would not recommend that groups of girls/women come here alone. The waiters spoiled our meal with overtly suggestive/sexual comments (as an example, one asked 'Can I undress you? I mean.. take your coat.. my english is SO bad') and really very inappropriate behaviour. The experience was not pleasant and left us (a group of 5 17/18 year old girls) wanting to leave as soon as possible. I'm sure for family meals or couples their behaviour would be entirely professional and acceptable, but I don't want anyone else to be in the situation that we were.
