For authentic Italian food in London’s West End, Ponti's Italian Kitchen restaurant provides a welcome oasis just off Oxford Circus. Family-run since 1963, Ponti’s specialises in food from the Emilia Romagna region of Italy.

Dishes are simply prepared using the freshest quality ingredients, with a generation's twist on traditional classics. Provenance is a key part of the menu, with several dishes denoted with the DOP logo, the official mark which certifies that the products are genuine speciality products from the region. So, the Parma Ham is from Parma and nowhere else.

With two sites in London on Duke Street and John Prince's Street, Ponti's Italian Kitchen appeals to a broad clientele and serves food all day. From a cooked breakfast to afternoon tea and cakes, and late supper through to a great cocktail, the menu remains true to Ponti's Italian roots.

A lively and entertaining space with contemporary music in the background, Ponti's Italian Kitchen conveys all the best attributes of an Italian home - great fresh authentic food, warmth and fun.

I've just come back from a week in Rome and Ponti's is still my favorite italian restaurant! I'd recommend the grilled polenta to vegetarians and the marrianna gelati (ice cream) to everyone as it's just as good as the ice cream in rome

I have for many years enjoyed Pontis restaurants all over central London as an eaterie to rely on. It was with some trepidation that I went for a Monday night dinner to this newly refurbished venue which I first visited over twenty years ago. I needn't have worried. There was still that warm welcome, a pleasing unrushed ambiance and traditional Italian food in a modern style. I nibbled spicy garlic bread whilst I sipped a welcome glass of red wine from Puglia and then enjoyed one of my favourites - chicken rosmarino which was tasty, attractively served and filling. The meal was rounded off with delicious cheesecake and double espresso.

I understand the restaurant close to Oxford Circus is open all day and I will try it for business lunches as the tables and boothes are sufficiently far apart for private conversation.

Full marks Pontis - this new style is an my eyes a success!

It find a little corner of Italy in the middle of rowdy Oxford Circus is a treat and then to find the food is terrific, the prices good, the service charming and the place relaxed yet sophisticated with its cool Continental decor and unobtrusive music made this a great place to go. It will become my new "regular", that's for sure!

Never heard of Ponti's until i met a friend there for lunch. Was a bit apprehensive at first, but the service was excellent and the presentation was exquisite! I had the chicken milanese (premium chicken breast, lightly breaded, creamy mashed potatoes and sautéed spinach) with thick cut chips on the side. The carrot cake was great and nicely presented too! With a nice warm atmosphere I will definitely be coming here again! (btw, Ponti's Italian Kitchen are different from their 'counter-service restaurant, which aren't up to the same standard as their Italian Kitchen)
