Great Nepalese Restaurant

We had the most ammazing and authentic dinner at this restaurant.the food is freshly cooked the atmosphere relaxing and the staff very friendly and helpful.Very reasonable prices too!we will certainly return and will recommend to people we know.

You wander down the Doric Arch, have a couple of decent beers in there, then along to the Great Nepalese. It's crowded, but with nice folk, both staff and customers. Specially like the chicken livers. I've never been to Nepal, but the food doesn't taste like an "Indian" restaurant - whatever that means for that huge landmass - so presumably it really is authentic. I always recommend it to anyone who asks me. After the meal, wander along to the sleeper for Aberdeen and get settled in the lounge with a Traquair and a Talisker as Wembley slides past the train at a rate of knots.
