Basilico

We ordered several pizzas from Basilico, having not used them for years due to their ridiculously expensive menu, but decided to try them again.
We were delivered 3 small pizzas and one large fiorentina at some cost, which had no egg on, so we called to say could they please send one with egg.
We got terrible verbal abuse and were told we were wrong etc. After much argument they agreed to send us a new pizza if we sent the other one back.... this didn't feel right because we weren't sure that they wouldnt just send us the old pizza with an egg on, and at their prices, I would expect a fresh pizza. This lead to more abuse and shouting from the manager.
Let's just say it's 45 minutes now and we have had no sign yet.... will they even come back?
Needless to say we will never use this company again

Pizzas not hot - they should be. Wrong salad provided - take orders more accurately. I emailed the company to complain - email ignored. So, improve customer service.

I've been using Basilico since it opened and yes, they do great pizzas. However, something recently has gone wrong. They appear to be scrimping on ingredients. They are doing that thing which some restaurants do when they become successful, they try and cut corners whilst increasing their prices. Unfortunately, Basilico have fallen into that trap. A 13" pizza can now cost around £15. I've measured the last two that I've ordered and neither were that size they were 12" or under. One of them was supposed to include pepperoni. I counted 8 pieces in total on the pizza! A sad demise to what was once the very best pizza chain in London. So, if you want a great pizza in the area, go to Strada and have the Rustica for just over £10.

As a previous satisfied customer of Basilico Sheen I was massively disappointed by tonight's experience.
In the past we ordered the "fungi au truffle" pizza which was amazing, so after our first experience we always opted for the extra mushroom option because they were so delicious.
Tonight a nasty smelling pizza with vinegary, preserved & totally revolting mushrooms arrived.
The base was still fairly good (although it needed crisping in our oven) so we were able to eat some of it with added spice, seasoning & oil.
Hopefully Basilico will up their game & compete to become the best delivery pizza once again but until that time I will not be using them.

When Basilico 1st started, their pizzas were the best around.

Since the company has been franchised, my experiences at my local Basilico in East Sheen have been far from good.

The last time (& definitely the last time I will order from them), the pizzas were completely black & burnt on the bottom.

I phoned up to complain & ask for a refund. Begrudgingly the manager agreed, once she had sent his delivery man back on the bike to pick up the pizza!

I showed the poor driver the contents & he couldn't believe his eyes!

The fiasco took over an hour & none of us ate properly.

We had ordered 2 pizzas for a party of 4 & the manageress quibbled about "comping" the meal, even though I explained our get-together had been completely ruined & 2 people had gone completely hungry. The other two of us felt too guilty & put off to eat properly!

I threatened mentioning it online (which I am doing now) & she said I was blackmailing her. Surely other customers are entilted to be warned.
