This friendly restaurant serves the best italian food around. The bad review below must be malicious as everyone who eats there has only ever good things to say. To suggest that the owner would be rude is nonsense. Go there yourself and enjoy the great food and friendly atmosphere.

I have just returned from Angelo’s. The snails were brilliant, the best I have ever tasted. The lasagne was the worst one I have ever had – it was very greasy and the pasta had some weird beer like after taste. After 2 spoonful I gave up on it and left the whole lot. The lady did not like it and came back to tell us that there was nothing wrong with it, that the chef tasted it. Whatever, I won’t make myself sick by eating something what tastes weird. The desert – profiterols – were somehow average. Cream filled profiterols, with just single cream poured over them…where is the chocolate? Maybe it is Italian way, having it without the chocolate?

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!!! Awful food, AWFUL service. Very RUDE. I wouldn't even give it 1 star but in order to publish a review you have to give at least 1 star on this site! My wife sent her food back as it was inedible and was subjected to a aggressive tirade by the watiress/owner!! Our friends, one of whom is pregnant, couldn't eat her food either...the waitress/owner didn't show any concern or ask if she wanted something else...so our pregant friend was left hungry all night. Finally when we went to pay, again the owners went into an aggressive tirade calling us "dishonest". More like DISSATISFIED!! Never going here again.

I was recommended by a friend to eat here.
My food was overcooked and stuck to the plate, when I sent it back myself and my friends were treated to a barrage of abuse by the waitress. I was called dishonest and a liar.
We thought the customer was right? They didnt even offer to give me anything else.

We were ignored for the rest of the evening and struggled to even get the bill from the waitress.

Very unimpressed and went home to have dinner
Will not go back to this place in my lifetime!

This small family run Italian restaurant is a good example of why you should not judge a book by its cover. The exterior needs a complete overhaul, but if you do decide to enter you won't regret it. The food is amazing and portions are huge. Service is very attentive and homely. A typical Italian menu, but for some reason they don't do Pizza. Tiramisu is very good if you have room.

Lucky enough to have this gem of a restaurant as our "local". A lot of local people haven't discovered it because the exterior is most uninteresting. But once inside, it has a very warm and cosy atmosphere. Run by Italian husband and wife (husband is the chef). Food is very authentic Italian with great menu and "specials on the blackboard". Excellent service and not overpriced. A great eating experience. Same vegetables served with all meals, but they are cooked well. Desserts are good too if you have room after the very generous portions.

Great food, great family atmosphere and well priced. I love going there..they make you feel so welcomed .. carmella and Rocco make the time there so memorable and some of the dishes they make are just CLASSIC!!!
