Shapla Tandoori

I have read a couple of bad reviews and I really cannot understand where they are coming from. I have been coming here on and off for years and have never had any reason to complain. Excellent traditional Indian food.

This is a wonderful restaurant to dine in, I always bring family and friends here, the staff never disappoint and the food is always lovely, 10/10!

Food was cold. Portions small and overpriced. The food tasted way too sweet. It was awful

This place is just wonderful, no idea what the other review is on about! I went here recently after moving to Barnet and I've never had such a great meal out. Can't wait to bring my friends here for some more gorgeous food.

Used to enjoy this place so much but after visiting there last night (27/12/12) I can honestly say that it was one of the worst experiences I've ever had.

The restaurant wasn't busy at time yet the staff seemed far more interested in dealing with take-away orders than with seated customers.

Two vastly different chicken dishes were ordered but both looked, smelt and tasted the same (after having to enquire as to where my order was when everything else had been delivered to the table and the staff member walking off oblivious to the fact).

Useless. I would have rather stayed home.

The food here is excellent and consistent. The prices are very reasonable also. The owner and staff are always welcoming and pleasant. Very popular with locals which is a good sign. The restaurant itself is small but cosy. Have been going here for many years and have never been disappointed.

We visited the restaurant a week ago and were very impressed with the quality of the food and service! Wonderful experience!
The place itself is a bit tired and would probably need some upgrading.
But, overall, we are coming back as it is the best and the nearest.
