We arrived in the restaurant on a Sunday evening around 9 o'clock. Nobody welcomed us on arrival, so we walked in and asked a member of staff (waiter, manager?) for a table for two. We were TOLD, in a rude manner, to wait at the door, 'because he was talking at the moment' (!). We left immediately.
I don't want to judge the whole restaurant and it's staff, but this man surely should change his job.
PizzaExpress has expanded enormously over the years and now has a staggering number of outlets. The simple menu and kitchen concept has retained its freshly made ideal and you can still watch your pizza being prepared for you. This branch can cater for private parties upon request.
