Given that Kerala is on the southern tip of India the food is characterised by tropical ingredients - mangoes, coconuts, cardamom and cashews are staples. At Rasa they stay true to their roots with aromatic curries and dosas filled with pulses and chutneys, and you can fill up for just over a tenner.

It was on busy weekend i have been there in Rasa W1, without a reservation. The staff were very cooperative and offered me a table on the first floor without much delay. The first floor looked better with the keralan antiques and paintings. The food was amazing and without any doubt i can say the best indian meal i ever had. They have a variety of vegetarian dishes as well, which my wife liked. She had a veg feast with snacks, starters, 5-6 curries, rice, bread, and rice pudding for just £ 19 ! While i tried their king fish curry with boiled cassava and it was best combination. The staffs are pleasing and cooperative. Highly recommended!
