We booked tables to celebrate my friend’s doctorate at the refinery last Saturday. In order to guarantee seats we had to pay £150 up front. We thought we could use this money to pay for champagne, which we ordered before Saturday with the events manager.
Sadly we found that when we arrived there seemed to be a double booking and after taking our money we were rudely asked to leave the premises.
The management of the situation was terrible and the service abysmal. I will certainly never go there again and would advise readers not to go there either. We were very disappointed.
