Great Taste ! Great Value ! Great Service | (* Sorry for saying this Publicly - But I still strongly feel that the Food Portions are Way Too Big !)

This is Chinese food the way I first tasted it in the 1960's. I'm two thirds of the way through the menu and, so far everything has been between "quite good" and "excellent". The owner/host/waiter is Howard, a gentle, polite and helpful guy.
The parking is good (there's a Waitrose free car park two minute's walk away.
No alcohol, but glasses, etc. provided free of charge. Well worth a visit.

I think this little gem is Surbiton's best kept secret. Unpretentious, very inexpensive and consistently good. This b.y.o. family-run business is always welcoming, has some beautiful traditonal chinese paintings (done by the owner's father) on the walls and usually has quiet chinese classical/contemporary music playing in the background. If you are a regular you are made to feel an honoured guest.

I can't imagine my Friday nights without it!

Our favourites; prawns and green pepper in blackbean sauce, crispy duck pancakes, grilled dumplings, deep-fried beancurd, szechuan chicken and the best chinese tea!
