We stumbled across this little restaurant and what a superb find it was !
There was a good choice of dishes that we couldnt choose between and when the food came it was fabulous, the service was really helpful and friendly and there was a nice candle lit atmosphere to boot !
Definately worth another visit to try the rest of the menu !

We ate at The Little Square last night (Tues) and it was appalling. The four of us arrived at eight thirty but weren’t served our main courses until quarter past ten. We were sat upstairs and felt forgotten about (another table arrived after us and was served before us). The starters were slow to come but we all agreed that the quality of the starters was ok but not great. We waited an age to have our table cleared and then had to wait for over an hour for our main courses. My meatballs were warm and my companions’ duck and lamb were both overdone and the rocket and Parmesan salad (£4.50) had no Parmesan. By this time most other diners had left and no effort had been made to clear the dirty table.

They gave us a free bottle of red wine to account for the delay in service. However when we refused to pay the 12.5% service charge on the £135 bill the waiter told us that he would have to charge us for the free wine (which was handily on the bill already – good job we checked). When we complained about the food he said, “but you ate it all.” Yes, because we were hungry and it was nearly 10:30. We asked for the bill to be reasonably adjusted and he said he couldn’t do anything. We asked to see the manager and he said that the manager had gone home (obviously likes to eat at a reasonable hour). We told him we would be prepared to pay £100 and to top it off he took some items of the bill but still managed to include his 12.5% service charge.

Avoid.
