Have been going to Cirilo's for three years now and it never gets dull. I've been through most dishes in the menu and pretty much all of them are worth trying out, especially the noodle and Philipino dishes. Cirilo clearly cooks with passion and this often comes out in some amazingly presented stuff. Also, as an asian, its so nice to get asian food in London that is not pumped full of grease in order to tease out some form of flavour. Sure, some of the dishes have been adapted to suit the European palate, but Cirilo shows that this can be done with respect for the ingredients.

Outstanding food and perfect service. I'm lucky enough to be able to eat in some of the mostly highly regarded restaurants in Europe and Cirilo is always my target venue when I am in London. Don't be fooled by the low prices and E1 address - the service and cuisine is up there with some of the best restaurants you could visit. Polite, friendly service - no fawning and being over attentive - just perfect. The flavours in this restaurant do not exist anywhere else in the UK that I have ever encountered. They even reprinted my bill for expenses! Try it out and be amazed.

My wife and I visited this place due to its great reviews..a small but quaint place to eat but the food speaks volume for itself..we ordered 3 dishes and it was plentiful for both of us..great value for money..happy customers should always come away full-up with money well spent on flavoursome food..that is what this place is all about..its NOT japanese cuisine..its mixed..Filipino dishes in particular..if this was put on the sign..im sure it will attract more filipinos like ourselves to come and try the place...WE certainly will be back for more...thank you Cirilo's...

i visited this restaurant several months ago as a suprise for my filipino partner. Although as previous review says its not in a glamourous area they food was lovely and the filipino dishes had a healthy and tasty twist.Presentation was good too,my girl loved it and said it was refreshing to taste different filipino dishes that where not made as cheap as possible with heaps of fat however tasty that can be.i knew exactly what she meant as this has happened to spanish tapas in UK - you find little thought and one place taste like the next.service was 100% and friendly.wish it was closer to me.

Cirilo is our local restaurant. We love eating here. It is unusual to have an asian fusion restaurant in amongst the plethora of curry houses but it is not just rarity value - Cirilo's food is genuinely outstanding. We have taken our friends to dinner here on a pre-agreed set menu before as Cirilo can provide a much better dinner party menu than we can. Cirili is Filipino and so there is a wide selection of Filipino influenced food but the real beauty of Cirilo is the off-menu specials. Ask for them and you will not be disappointed. The menu food is very reasonably priced (so much so that we originally had to tell him to put his prices up) and the specials are worth the couple of extra pounds that you pay. Wine selection is reasonable and good if you book in advance and say what you want. The only unfortunate thing is the location of the restuarant is not very glamourous (see photo) but don't be fooled, this is a genuine gem.

I have been to this restaurant on many occasions and the food has been amazing everytime. Its very different from your standard chinese and has its own unique flavour and and variety. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone. All the noodle dishes are fantastic and the duck is also very good. Great value for money along with friendly staff. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed!

The guy who runs it is a gentleman and took a lot of care and passion with our food. It's a bad location but a great restaurant so make the effort to go there and you won't be disappointed. A great alternative to the mass of local curry places.

This isn't Japanese as stated in the cuisine type above, more a mixture of Asian styles. The portions are huge and very good value, the presentation is excellent, and most importantly the food is delicious. A great addition to the area and a refreshing alternative to curry curry curry. The crispy aromatic duck is particularly good.
