Popped in to get a takeaway lunch midweek and ordered channa masala, cauliflower curry and 3 chapattis. Was told it would take about 10 mins to prepare as it was being made fresh, so popped out to the local shops to get some groceries. Picked up my food and upon getting home, discovered that my cauliflower curry was in fact a (horrible) mixed veg curry and that my channa masala contained about 10 solitary chick peas (the rest of the container was simply sauce). Great tasty food. Helpful staff, pleasant restaurant and from what I could see, many other people thought the same. We got there early for 7.30pm when it was quiet which was a good time to sit and have a Mango Lasi and chat for a bit before eating. By 9.00 the restaurant was full.

Had heard a lot about the Chennai Dosa restaurants and decided to give to give it a try today. Had to ask for menu as we were left sitting for around 10 mins and whatever we asked for had been sold out ( Vadai, Fish Curry etc). I was even told by the waiter I should have come four days when they had the fish curry in stock. We finally decided on some starters and waited for the food. It came but you have to either get up and get your cutlery or ask for it few times. Too many staff and no manager supervising and customers are looking around to order the food.

I would not want to go there again. Food was not great and the service was actrocious. Dosa Chutney in tooting Broadway is much better and the staff are more pleasant
