Greatest DISAPPOINTMENT. Don’t be fooled by the pictures of the food and content of the website of this restaurant, none of it is true. Don’t believe the excellent reviews, they are likely to be fake as well. Don’t waste your money here. Most of the things they mention in their menu are not true.

We booked a table for 6 people and went to the restaurant on a Tuesday evening, and were very disappointed.

ITALIAN SECTION– no such thing. It contained only 2 items; dry white boiled pasta in a white liquid that could not be eaten, and a platter of very basic pizza, a dough base with tomato sauce and cheese on top.

COOKING STATION – only had chicken breast fillets and beef fillets marinated in a tandoori sauce, they grilled this for you upon request.

THAI / INDIAN SECTION- Had several dishes of cubed chicken breasts, the only difference was that each was in a different coloured sauce.

SALAD BAR – very basic.

DESERT STATION- this was the W

This restaurant was recommended by someone on the tour. It proved to be a good choice as there was a lot of variety. It's a very informal dining experience in that you just take what you like, stir fry noodles, sweet sour, chicken curry etc, put it on the cute plates provided and eat. The kids loved the pizza and ice cream, at the same time. Impressed by the variety and international theme.

We went on a busy night, Saturday. The seafood special was on. Despite the large number of people dining, we had no difficulty getting our plates piled up with food. It is yummy food as well.

It's great because we could not decide on what to have and presto - right there amidst all the bars and pubs pops up this place with variety and spice. Pizzas and italian are great, had a mountain of tandoori chicken too. Did I mention it's an all you can eat buffet? Tasty, inexpensive and the desserts are very good.

The chef did for me a lovely nan bread with butter and lamb curry n the side. I don't know how, but the food just keeps flowing and my family loves it too

Been here a few times and its really a hidden gem in kings Cross. Where can you get an all you can eat with so many items on for that price. The food id really very good, the cakes and desserts phenomenal as well. It's never let me or the family down. My favourite item, the fresh naan bread and Curries. That alone costs £15 a few doors down, here i've got 50 more things to eat and tasty as well. Three thumbs up!

Now, i'm really fussy about where i dine but we went to this place the other day and its really unique as the kitchen is open and you can actually see the chefs cooking, cutting and actually making the food. The kitchen is very clean as well and they have these lovely stations that make fresh food, a chinese wok chef, an american style grill with beef and chicken and an indian style tandoori oven. I really love the tandoori chicken and freshly baked naan.
A long line of salads accompany everything and I also found the salads to be very fresh as well.

What a restaurant! There were so many types of food that we probably only got through half the offering in an hour and a half. Nice service, very relaxed but the main thing is the food, it's tasty and not expensive.

The perfect family restaurant. I have just started taking the kids here as it is so family friendly. Their food is buffet style and cooked fresh. They do everything from chinese to italian. There is a massive salad counter for me and lots of meat for the rest of the family. Not to mention a huge selection of desserts as well, all included in the price. The atmosphere is relaxed and you can eat as much as you want. I love it, kids love it.

Really, this is a no brainer. I have been going to this place with the entire family as its probably the easiest place to dine in.
1) Easy parking, off street and within walking distance.
2) Freshly cooked and prepared in front of you, just stand there and you'll see the chefs doing this. no worries about what goes on behind kitchen doors.
3) Hotel quality cuisine from all over the world, no need to decide what to eat, for us or our kids. Also you can have as much as you want.
4) Informal dining, kid friendly, friendly staff. just take a plate and take your food,no wait no queue.

This is what i call a buffet. From the moment we sat down, it was nothing but food and more. I personally enjoyed the live stations and they have three. The Indian chef does fresh naan bread, the chinese chef does all kinds of stir fry, mine being beef and another chef does barbecued beef and chicken. By the time I did these three, I was full. Only another 97 stations to go! I tried a little of everything and headed for the desserts. YUUUUMMY! Going back soon.

I came to this lovely restaurant as our tour group was shopping in the kings cross/camden area. The last few restaurants we went to were quite nice but I think this is the best because we could just go over and pick up whatever food we wanted. I do like chinese food and they had more, food fro south east asia, thailand, china, italy american bbq, smoked salmon and lots of healthy desserts. a chinese chef made me fresh stir friied noodles with beef. \another chef made me naan bread abd so many curries to choose from. I think this restaurant is the best part of our visit.

My secretary actually made a reservation here for a business lunch and it normally takes an hour or so, but this time we spent the entire afternoon there! The food was that good. I will not go into too much detail but this reminds me of those huge american delis but with international hot food like tandoori, curries from asia and india, pizza, italian. It was really too much to take in at one sitting so i have made reservations to take the family there this weekend. It was 7.99 for lunch and that's really cheap for buffet anywhere i n Central London.

Honestly the best all you can eat restaurant in London! There's a great variety of starters, mains and desserts, with amazing customer service. Lunch for £7.99 is just amazing! And the quality of food is so much better than the other all you can eat restaurants in the area. I take my mum here every time she visits me and never fails to impress! Going back today and can't wait.

A really awesome selection for lunch, the stir fried noodles reminded me of our trip to thailand last year. A very large and international selection, including salads like seaweed.
Also very decently priced at £7.99. for lunch.

Hello. I am Mr Lim from Seremban, Malaysia. We came on a tour of London and our tour guide brought us to this nice buffet restaurant called 'Kitchin N1' The range of food is very good. I personally liked the 'Pepperoni Pizza' All the chefs are very friendly and we tasted a little bit of everything because there was so much of food! Probably the best buffet in our tour. The chef also made a nice fried rice, just like home.Thank you.

My colleagues were telling me about this buffet restaurant next to the station and we decided to give it a go. Its actually a centre kitchen with food around. The cuisine is chinese, italian, thai, with starters from all over there are also massive salad and dessert sections. The food tasted good and really there was too much to finish. I plan to return soon.

I was at this buffet establishment last night for a friend's leaving do. I was really surprised as It is a very big buffet restaurant in the middle of Kings Cross and I had no idea it was there! The food-really good, service- well, its a buffet, so you are pretty much on your own, which is fine by me.
It starts off with a starter section with abourt 15 items, veg and non veg. For those of you who may be vegans, it does have some veg items on, but most of the food is meat and seafood based. YUM.

We visited this buffet restaurant for Sunday lunch. There was a lot of freshly cooked food. My favourite was the carvery section. The service was good, the food great and we will go back again. I only wish they had some outdoor seating as the weather was really nice this afternoon.

Me and two friends went on a Saturday night about an hour before closing.

The service was below average - they were more interested in cleaning so they could leave than attending to us.

The food had obviously been sitting outside for a while, so it was stale and definitely not the best food I've had.

The other problem is this place is trying to do too much, they should pick one or two ethnic varieties instead of having Chinese, Indian, Tai, and Italian.

I have been to Kitchin a few times recently. The reason I went there was to meet a friend for lunch close to where we both work. I really enjoyed the food, the service was simple and the staff were polite. I have been back a few times and the service and the food is the same. I mentioned a dish looking like it had been out too long to a member of staff and they dealt with it by informing the chef and then came to get me when a fresh lot had been made.

The main thing I want to point out about Kitchin is that my colleague is sitting at his desk every day with a cold sandwich and some crisps for about £5. For an extra £ or so Kitchin serves a a wide range of hot Asian cusine and I get away from the office! With it being a buffet you can take as much time as you like with no fear of your food not being done in time!

Hi, I went eating out there a few times now. The staff there offers a fantastic buffet concept. This means that you can get a perfect selection of different cuisines (Italian, Chinese, Thai and Indian) and an excellent selection of drinks around an open kitchen, which is located in the middle of the venue.

We went on Monday evening there. So we were able to get the great 40% food offer. Therefore we paid a really small amount of money, but got a good value for it. The whole family enjoyed getting together at this lovely place near by kings cross station in London.

Had a great dinner at Kitchin N1 last night with my family. We had a huge amount of food and some drinks for a very reasonable price. The portions are large and very tasty. We recently paid around £ 10 per person for an evening meal, which included a starter, a main dish and a side dish.

We were there from just after 6pm til 8pm and there were no tables left by the time we were leaving and there were people waiting to get in! A great sign. Being of Anglo-Indian origin, I am sure I know what I am talking about and therefore I thoroughly recommend a visit to Kitchin N1 soon!
