Homely interior/decor with home cooked style Italian food. The service is always friendly and attentive, but the best thing about this place is the food. Generous portions and seriously good. Have been a regular here for the past 3 years and have had a good meal every time.

Caravaggio is a friendly, competent, and enjoyable local Italian restaurant. Whether you want a good coffee (£1.50), a plate of pasta (£4.50 - £5.50) or half a guinea fowl with all the trimmings (£11.50), you're unlikely to go far wrong. The tirimasu is delicious, and probably big enough to share. The restaurant is judiciously divided between a large rear dining area, and a much smaller section by the from window, which is ideal for an afternoon coffee.
