Istanbul

Went to the Istanbul with friends a few days ago and as the other reviewers have said it is a marvellous, relaxed eatery where the staff take great pride in their work. I had a Cop Saslik which was freshly cooked and moist and tasty. Everything was excellent and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The service was warm and prompt and we were given time to relax and chat and enjoy the food. An absolute oasis and one I will visit regularly.

I agree with Anonymous above! This place is a great local pitstop if you need good food fast and a lovely place to sit and chill with friends. The staff take a great deal of pride in what they do and it shows in the food and service. The chicken shish was perfectly barbecued, the stews are tasty and full of good meat, and the mezze and salads were similarly tasty and filling. Highly recommended.

This restaurant does lovely food. The salad that comes with the lahmacun is simple yet delicious. The yogurtlu Adana - Toasted bread, special tomato sauce, mince lamb/beef kebab and thick yogurt is dreamy. Baklawa sweet, nutty and syrupy - exactly how it should be. Recommended!!!
