Food arrived within 15 minutes!
For three meals with rice £12.90! Great value
Steaming Hot.
Fresh.
Vegetables were cooked just right, not still completely raw like so often
The sweet and sour chicken had loads of meat in it and not almost more onions than anything else
delicious!
Staff was friendly and efficient.
Best chinese I had in Hackney since we moved here. Glad we finally found a good one for the odd treat.

Nothing in this world truly deserves a 10/10: some aspects could always be made better, but as far as Chinese takeaways go, its hard to see much room for improvement here at Wu (so maybe it deserves a 9.5+)
I haven't tried everything on the menu, but I've been about 10 times now and always try to order new things. Nearly every dish I've eaten from Wu has been as good or better than what I've been able to get at any other Chinease takeaway or eat in restaurant. I especially like their ciao meins; not too greasy (unlike most takeaways) and a good high meat content. Also Their prawns are amazing, I can't do them justice, they are so big, fleshy and fresh tasting.
This being a review, I suppose it's only fair I write some bad stuff too (although it pains me to do so). I once had some dumplings from there that were a bit dry and tasted of flour. However, I'd never heard of them let alone tried them before, so maybe that's how they were supposed to be? They weren't very nice though. Also I had the crispy beef a couple of times, I found it really nice, but my girlfriend did point out that it consists of more 'crispy' than it does actual beef.
Now, back to the good stuff! The woman at front of house is very smiley, polite and is very welcoming when she offers to let you wait (the interior of Wu is quite nice too, not quite restaurant standard, but far better than most takeaways). Finally, considering the quality of Wu's service and food, the price is amazing. It's about as cheap as or your average cheap high street take-away, but with food that equal or above the quality of a lot of restaurants. In short, the prices are fantastic.
I've never bothered writing online reviews or blogs, but I felt I owed one to Wu after all the mega satisfactory meals they've fed me since I moved to Homerton.
Thank you very much people of Wu
