Delicious Mediterranean food in a warm and friendly atmosphere can perfectly sum up the Doukan experience. This Wandsworth Town eatery offers a vast range of food to match the time of the day and it's a wonderful place to stop by with your family or friends. Well appointed rooms with Moorish designs speak volumes about how apt the spaces are for meetings with colleagues and co-workers over tantalising meals brought by friendly staff.

The day could begin with a cheery breakfast by the airy patio where Moroccan pancakes with honey and butter along with a cup of slow roast coffee fuel you for the day. Salads, wraps, sandwiches and burgers comprise the lunch time menu while dinner could be a more elaborate affair beginning with crisp, flaky parcels stuffed with spicy lamb and peppers followed by a main course of chicken tagine in a preserved lemon sauce. Fruits and sorbets comprise the dessert list although there's a selection of fine cheeses also.

Great, tasty, eclectic food

This Moroccan restaurant first found fame on Gordon Ramsay’s The F Word, but it’s stood the test of time. During the day it’s a café and deli popular with the local yummy mummies; in the evening couples feast on tagines and grilled meats with flatbreads. The sleek bar serves cocktails and enticing snacks like prawns tossed in harissa and chicken and almond pastilla.

I ate at Doukan's last night, for the first time, and had a lovely evening. It was a quiet Tuesday (I hear it gets busy later in the week) and the staff, including te owner, were friendly and chatty and made us feel welcome and relaxed. The food is very tastey with a good selection (inc veggie) and a couple of nice Morracan wines. The atmosphere is very relaxed. Highly recommended. Pete.

Being Moroccan myself,Doukan has certainly satisfied my palate and reminded me of the so missed Home cuisine,The design has nothing like a restaurant "Bazaar style" it's a contemporain place with a moroccan idendity,it's family friendly and the crowd are"Des gens bien!" .Have as many starters as you can to share as you can go from sweet to sour and from tangy to bittersweet and finally make sure you take "Amlou" from the deli counter to enjoy at home for your breakfast.
