Briefly- a terrible terrible restaurant. I ordered a risotto and received dry reheated rice with a thin sauce on top. Noisy, expensive and very slow staff. They prey on tourists who they know will not return. They should be ashamed.

This must be the worst Italian restaurant we have been to. Served by a sullen and unfriendly waiter and the food was to say the least poor considering the prices. My wife's order of ''prawn'' cocktail was actually very small shrimps, my veal cordon bleu was so overcooked as to be inedible and I sent it back.I declined for it to be replaced, however was still charged for the side salad (untouched) that came with it.
All in all an experience we would rather forget.

I'm afraid to say my experience of this restuarant was extremely negative. This must be one of the worst Italian restaurants I've ever been to. For starters my friends and I ordered calamari, garlic mushrooms and frogs' legs. The calamari was extremely over cooked and soggy; the garlic mushrooms were very dry (and lacking a garlic taste!); the frogs' legs, however, were not bad (but not good).

For the main meal, I ordered scampi in a tomato and garlic sauce. I have to say, this dish was really awful; the scampi was flavourless, the sauce was watery and the rice tasted like it was microwaved. In fact, I couldn't even finish the meal and felt rather ill afterwards.

Lastly, the price was ridiculous; it was £78 for three people including a 12% service charge and a £3 cover charge. When I asked for the service charge to be removed, the waiter thrust a menu in my face and said that it already said that a service charge was mandatory. In summary, I was very annoyed after the experience!

Our food was perfectly adequate, but this does not compensate for this restaurant's creative approach to pricing, which can only be described as deceitful, if not an outright swindle. Our bill, which made us gasp into our coffee cups, revealed that we had been slapped with a general cover charge, charged for the 'complementary' bread laid out when we sat down, and given a service charge of 12 per cent. Furthermore, the cheapness of the main courses is deceptive, as we had to pay separarely for potatoes and vegetables. The final bill came to £54 for a shared starter and dessert, main courses (with one helping of potatoes and vegetables between us), soft drinks and coffees. Don't come to dine here unless you're happy paying these kinds of prices for a bog-standard Italian restaurant.

This was one of the worst experiences I have had in a reataureant in London in 7 years.

We were shown or rather shoved into our seats, our orders were taken in a normal fashion and drinks were served. Our appetisers were served with our mains and cold aswell.

Whe on of our party tried her meal and was not satisfied she spoke with on of hte waitrons and he just dismissed her asking if she knew seafood (funny as she comes from seafood background), then the meal was removed with no further query as to a replacement or appology.

When we asked for the bill there was a seating charge of £1 per person and a six pound service charge. so now were were charged £11 on top of bad service and no courtesy shown. That was the worst £53.40 meal i have ever had.

And yes om sorry as im not in the habbit of bad mouthing anyone that earns a respectable living, but an industry that just turns tables and prays on tourists that does not return for a second or 3rd time makes me sick.

I can't complain about the quality of food when i stopped by for lunch with my daughter. As the food was OK (not brilliant though...and the house wine was awful and expensive)
But my gripe is that when I looked at the bill i noticed they charged a Cover Charge AND a service charge. Which added about £10 to my bill.
Have your say
