This was my regular eating place in the 80's. After a 20 year gap I returned last night and was amazed. The quality is still there. The food is amazing, the staff very friendly and the general atmosphere top class. I will not wait another 20 years for my next visit.

We went to Curry Paradise thinking the name sounded a bit like a student takeaway and were rather worried that the food would match but thankfully we were wrong. The restaurant was very busy and the staff very friendly and attentive. Service was quick and the food was simply delicious. This was my husbands first Indian Meal and I was so hoping I would convert him - job done! We are looking forward to visiting again very soon.

Having recently moved to Hampstead, I was recommended to try out the Paradise restaurant on South End Rd, just opposite the heath, as it was Monday evening I didn't think I would need a booking, the place was packed, I was told by the waiter that a table would be available in about half an hour and that we could wait near the bar and have a drink or if we wished to come back later, they would call to let us know when the table would be ready. Twenty minutes later we got a call to say that the table was ready. We ordered a Chicken Chaat and a Prawn Puri for starters and for the mains a Korai King Prawns and a Shahi Chicken. Everything was absolutely delicious, and the service was extremely friendly and attentive. I love living in Hampstead, and having a restaurant like Paradise makes it even better.

This was the worst Curry place I ever used in my long life. I can only surmise that the previous postings were written by the Manager/owner

The service was the pits, the waiter was distainful and had a poor command of English. The food was dry tasteless and microwaved...hot in spots... frozen solid in the centre. The Restuarant was cold from the blasts of cold air in from the heath in the ever open door. We stayed as it was raining and we had to wait for our transport home.

We sipped an over priced Gin and Tonic while we waited to escape. No one greeted us or said a good bye......obviously we were not welcome!

We will never ever take Lunch there again. DMD

This is the best restaurant in London selling authentic cuisine. Great Food and nothing is too much trouble, the staff are well trained, courteous and very knowledgeable about their food. It is a family business run by two brothers who are always available. We have been customers for over 30 years - our first visit was when we were 18 and we just can't get the same ambience anywhere else. A great place to eat and meet friends.
