I was recommended this place by a friend, and not dissapointed. A very simple restaurant with above average food and very nice staff. Price was good for location it is at , if you ever stop at euston station and have a bit of time on your hands I would say give the Drummond villa a visit . You will not be dissapointed .
Being from Birmingham and having eaten at many many curry houses i have to say that Drummond Villa is one of the best in London...food is excellent, service is great from many smart waiters and the atmosphere is perfect. great place to eat... 5 star in my opinion

I went to Drummond Villa restaurant on 13th January 2011.I was just passing by at 8 pm and saw the restaurant was packed.Since me and my girlfriend were looking for dinner we got into this place. It was a bit dark inside but the table presentation was very nice. They also had a TV for customers. They put on the football game on it.I am very interested in football so i enjoyed it.We were served very quickly by the staff to a nice table. There was a young waiter who asked about the drinks and bought us some Papadums very quickly. All the waiters were very friendly and looked very smart. We ordered the Drummond Special for two persons. It included two starter Onion Bhaji and Shammi Kebab. The main course had Sag Aloo,Chicken Bhuna, Prawn Dupiaza, Pilau Rice and Nun Breads. It was too much for both of us.The food was very nice.We also had deserts and coffee as part of our meal.I would recommend people to visit this place and try the Drummond Special.I am definitely going to this place with my friends.Good Luck Drummond Villa.

me & my friends were at drummond villa last night it waj a great evening out,we all enjoyed specially 2 of my friends order the dish from chef special, murgh massala & spicy mr naga chicken wich waj superb,my self i had chicken jalfrezi with mushroom rice & side order of sag bhajee simply mouth watering dishes, after a long time we had a nice indian meals, staffs are friendly we were offerd some liqueur on the house after the meals,on a wednesday night the restaurant were full, some coustomers are waited for a table seems like waiters knew most of the coustomers, and most improtant is we waj parked just out side the restaurant, wenever we next in euston we will pop in.
Quite the worst Indian meal I have ever had. The veg dishes tasted as though a pinch of curry powder off the supermarket shelf had been sprinkled on them. The 'Madras' was half a dozen tiny pieces of chewy lamb floating in a vaguely spicy tomato sauce. They even managed to spoil the beer. It came out of a bottle but the glass tasted so strongly of washing up liquid I couldn't taste much else.
£6 for a main dish consisting of barely 50p of ingredients and desultory service is abominable. They don’t ask if you’ve enjoyed your meal because a) they don’t actually care and b) they already know the answer.
Popped in here hoping for a nice curry only to be sorely disappointed. The portion sizes were the smallest I have ever had at an indian restaurant and not great flavour wise. The dahl had way too much oil in, the sag bhaji was cold and the bombay aloo was way too hot (spicy) to eat despite requesting medium. (Upon request they did change the dahl and the potatos)
I would avoid this place if you want a decent meal.
I had a couple of good meals here some five years ago. My wife and I returned in July 2007 - she had a satisfactory chicken dish whilst I chose a Lamb Pasanda (both from the "house specials" list). I have never eaten anything so devoid of taste! The meat was tasteless - the sauce was tasteless - a difficult feat with Indian cuisine. The Cobra Beer (£3.50 per bottle) had considerably more flavour. I communicated the fact to two waiters who showed little interest - one exerted himself to say "Oh - well - perhaps next time ..." There will be no next time for me
Dinner at this restaurant was the worst experience of any Indian restaurant in London. It was badly lit and the heating was off -we had to beg to be moved to a better table. The staff talked in loud voices and the owner came in shouting into his mobile phone. The meat - rogan josh - was tough and side dishes sub standard. I know what I am talking about as I write about South Asian cuisines.
