Angela Hartnett’s career has been meteoric. From being Gordon Ramsay’s protégée to becoming the first female running the restaurant at the Connaught Hotel (Hélène Darroze has since replaced her), she went on to open her flagship eatery Murano. Ramsay’s York & Albany in Camden followed, as well as consulting on the menu at the Whitechapel Gallery Dining Room.
At Murano Hartnett takes inspiration from her Italian heritage to create contemporary Mediterranean dishes like pheasant Anjou pigeon with pistachio and grilled foie gras, and sea bass with gnocchi, vanilla and apple puree.

Be part of the kitchen action
Between seven and twelve people can check out Angela Hartnett’s kitchen, with a specially composed menu with wine pairing for each course. This Michelin-starred Italian eatery is every bit as polished as Hartnett’s mentor Gordon Ramsay’s restaurants.
London's best gluten-free food restaurants and cafes
Down with filthy wheat. Filthy.
The restaurant headed up by the brilliant Angela Hartnett is friendly towards those with gluten intolerances. The former protégée of Gordon Ramsay was awarded a Michelin star just four months after opening this Mayfair eatery, which offers high-end Italian cuisine.
