Le Chamarel

My Fiancee and I went to Le Chamarel restaurant on Sunday, after having read some very good reviews about the place and I must say they lived up to our expectations!

The restaurant was very clean and comfortable.

We found the staff really friendly, and there was a great selection of 'Authentic' Mauritian cuisine on the menu such as biryani's, La daube, rougaille, fish curry, octopus curry, dhall puri. They also had quite a big selection of freshly made desserts and alouda too.

The food was the best Mauritian cuisine we've had in london. It was truely amazing, we felt like we were back home and couldn't be happier.

We will definitely be back at le chamarel soon and strongly recommend it to anyone.
