I went with my family yesterday for an early dinner and we had a wonderful time. The food was delicious, we started with a selection of dim sum and then had one vegetarian chicken dish and one beef noodle dish. Every plate was perfectly flavoured and delicious. The waitress was excellent and kindly handed out paper and pens to keep our children entertained. We had a superb meal and will definitely be back soon!

I initially wrote the glowing review on this restaurant however most recently there has been a change of staff, although the ownership remains the same, I'm sorry to announce this promising restaurant has compromised the entire eating out experience.

My latest visit took a turn for the worse when an Asian lady, who I could barely understand & who knew nothing of the food being served had the audacity to question my order when she got the order wrong.

After coming to this place for so many years the calamity of this one experience with this obvious student who is doing a part time role has completely put me off this place and fortunately for me, as I was leaving in disgust, the owner came in and I was able to explain the problem to him, unfortunately he didn't seem too concerned.

Not long ago this place had the most charming oriental waiting staff, who were helpful and had some charisma, they understood the food and advised well, however it has become apparent that complacency has kicked in and the owner doesn't seem to particularly care about the staff he hires to run the service at his restaurant.

This acts as a warning on how restaurant owners make grave mistakes when hiring unqualified and inappropriate serving staff. Not only was my order completely wrong, the waitress had the audacity to try and justify her mistake, when in fact she had no idea what the food I ordered, should even look like.

When I pointed out the mistake, the waitress began arguing and as communications were a struggle, I felt she couldn't understand what I was saying and that she didn't know what she was serving.

I was left frustrated and infuriated by this waitress, who had completely ruined this little restaurant for me and I have vowed never to go back unless the owner resolves his poor serving staff.

It must be sods law that just a few days earlier I had written a glowing review on this place only to be so disgusted by the serving staff that would argue with a lo

Have been visiting since October 08, at least 3 times a month and it's been excellent near every time we've visited.

One of the very few restaurants that serve Dim Sum all day (most, even those in Central London, finish at 5pm), plus a range of other Chinese, Thai and Malaysian dishes.

Love the Dim Sum - usually go for some roast pork/prawn cheung fun, dumplings, spring rolls and the rice pots are great. Consistently delicious! The larger main meals are good too, there's a "noodle bar" for customised noodles which I didn't find too bad, but do love the pork and chicken curries too.

They recently introduced a lunch menu too - there's some dim sum, noodles and rice dishes all for under £6 I think, which may seem a little expensive for lunch but the portions are huge. Went with a friend and we could have shared a portion of Singapore Noodles, so much so she had to take away the scraps!

Pricing in general is very good, there are some mains that are slightly more expensive than similar restaurants, but generally very fair. Dim Sum pricing is exceptional - ranging from £2/3 for cheung fun and steamed dishes to £4/5 for some of the bigger rice varieties.

All in all - huge portions, dim sum all day plus consistently well cooked = worth going to! They open till 11:30 pm even on Sunday which has been very handy after stumbling back on the tube at times!

GO EAT!
