The Grove is fun and funky pub/restaurant fit for a king and pauper. The food is fit for a king, prices are average for the area while portions are fit for a pauper. An amazing and delightful place.

to walk down one of the most beautiful settings in london on a weekend, and not to have a muffin with poached eggs and the two most succelent saussages for a breakfast, you might as well stay in bed!!!

to spend a sunday morning in this great venue, made me feel so comfortable that i stayed on for a sunday roast!!!

to top it up, ana the waitress was so pleasent that we even returned on monday for a quick pint after work.

keep it up guys!!!

I love The Grove! It is one of my favorite spots in West London. The best thing about The Grove, apart from amazing food! it is if you are having a drink with you mates or romantic dinner with one of those "mates" - it never lets you down. As my special mate love to have Groves famous steak, I am more of the "vegetarian" person, I love to go for a Sea Bass or some other fresh fish...I spoke to one of The Groves chefs the other day, and Yes the menu changes twice a day, so I promise you-the food is always fresh!
The Grove used to have Live music night which I am hoping they will return it, but at the moment I am quite happy with Comedy Nights in the upstairs room. What else to add, great atmosphere, great food and laughter is the perfect combination on a rainy Sunday night in London!

I must say, i was charmed by the polite way the waitress took my order; she was quick, polite, and professional. I find it awfully annoying when you're starving, and the food takes ages coming, but i didn't have to wait long, and the food was delicious! Everything was well prepared and properly cooked and tasted amazing! And the prices weren't sky-high either! I had a delicious Argentinean RibEye steak and my friend had a Gorgonzolla Gnochi, accompanied by a shared bottle of organic Cothes du Rhone. The prices were appropriate, and i must say, worth it!
I strongly reccomend you lunch there sometime, not only is the food excellent, but the restaurant is pleasing to the eye, very bright and friendly, not one of those dingy pubs you get with the lighting so low you can't see what you're doing.

Whenever you struggle to find parking place around a restaurant you suspect the place is busy. This was exactly right for Grove in Hammersmith Grove which we went into after returning from holiday. The Grove is spacious place with high ceiling and subtle music in the background. It appears that they serve a large variety of drinks but after ordering our food from a hand written menu we were very pleasantly surprised when copious dishes were brought after about 10 minutes as we didn’t have starters. I had a grilled swordfish loin with roast butternut squash, baked beetroot, steamed bok choy and balsamic reduction. I was always under impression that the fish prepared in Mediterranean countries was much better than what we eat in England. However, this dish was delicious and better than any meal we had while on holiday in Greece. My wife had a vegetarian meal – oven baked aubergine stuffed with spinach and God knows what and she was delighted. She didn’t want to leave until she got a recipe from the chef. We ended the meals with panna cotta with berries compote which was recommended to us by a friendly waiter. We have never tried this before but felt like littler kids testing sweet for a first time. This place looks unpretentious but apparently serving the best dishes in Hammersmith area. We will definitely be back.
