Imagine 1,372 Champagne flutes lined up side by side and you have some idea of exactly how vast Europe’s longest Champagne bar at St Pancras International actually is. The 98 meter space housing the St Pancras Grand Champagne Bar is breath-taking thanks to its location which allows a panoramic view of the entire terminal whilst also making the most of the historic vaulted ceiling.

There’s seating for 110 and plenty of standing room. However, the banquette seating is the most desirable. Twelve banquettes (seating six people each) line the length of the bar and you won’t want to leave. Flattering pools of light from Art Deco lamps encourage intimate conversations, there’s table service and ‘Press for Champagne’ button, but more importantly there are individual blankets and fan heaters, which you can adjust to ward off the cold in addition to the heated leather seats of the banquettes themselves. Additional seating at small tables and bar stools is perfect for couples or pairs of friends.

Europe’s longest champagne bar is just the place to go if you’re looking for a romantic spot to imbibe the bubbles. Located on the upper concourse of the recently redeveloped St. Pancras Station it combines the regal champagne station with stunning views of the historic architecture that has made this station one of London’s most recognisable.

We offer some location suggestions

Nothing says ‘will you marry me’ like saying it at the St. Pancras Grand Champagne Bar before whisking your beau off to Paris for the weekend. That’s how we do anyway. You might find champagne, flowers and Eurostar a little classic, but darlings, Paris can never be a cliché…

Flutes and flutes of golden bubbles

Searcy's have several champagne bars dotted around, but we particularly like the St. Pancras one. Art deco styling and the rumble of the trains make it more than just a train station pit stop - it's a destination in its own right. Tables are fitted with buttons to call for more champers, and their selection includes many varieties by the glass as well as splurge-worthy bottles like the Armand de Brignac priced at £490.

There's a nice selection of champagne and food (including oysters), but if the weather is cold it's freezing as the bar is on the concourse and there is no heating, which doesn't lead to a very leisurely experience. Quite expensive given that it's located in a train station.
