This comment is the same as before but forgot to add overall service so give them a very big 10 points......
I visited Le Cellier Du Midi last night to celebrate my birthday. The food and service were superb. First course was a special King prawns cooked in a tasty fresh tomato sauce followed by fillet steak cooked to perfection served with seasonal vegetables finishing off with crepe's Grand Menier a dish to die for. Can't wait for my next visit.

I have visited Le Cellier Du Midi on numerous occasions. On every visit the food and service have been superb. The fish soup for start is a must. Eagerly anticipating my next visit.

"My husband and i went there for dinner the other night and had a rather poor fish soup - too watery and slighly oily, although the gruyere and rouille were good. Both the lamb and steak main courses were definitely overcooked to our medium rare orders but were still tasty and the vegetables included a really good dauphinoise, although the rest were a bit overcooked.

Whilst the food was acceptable, the people allowed by the restaurant to light up cigarettes in an airless basement restaurant was not. Our main course started tasting of nicotine and we could barely breath. We complained to the management, and we received nothing apart from an apology and a derisory offer of free chocolates
