Chez Bob in Belsize Park (despite the French name) is a proper American diner. Perfect at anytime but especially as a hangover cure!!

Chez Bob’s is an upmarket American diner-style place in leafy Belsize Park.
It opens early for breakfast and is definitely a brunchy-type place, with free newspapers and an extensive breakfast menu. Although the bias is towards American breakfasts, the fry-up has been described as the best ever tried! The French toast is also amazing, if very naughty. The bubble ‘n’ squeak Benedicts and Royales are also to be recommended.
On the main menu, the Rock Dog is huge and great value. Bob’s Salad Bowl is a flavourful, low carb meat feast. I’ve been here numerous times and never had a dud meal.

Best recent edition in Belsize Park! Independently owned and really good food... A nice change of pace from the litany of chain restaurants that surround it. Terrific brunches and sweet potato fries are highly recommended. Good vegetarian fair as well...
