Tower Tandoori

Now living in Spain and just returned from a lovely trip to London. Was great to return after nearly 10 years and it bought back some wonderful memories! We visited Tower Tandoori in Tower Bridge on a Wednesday night…I had actually been here before as I lived in Wapping nearby! The decor has changed but the place still looks very pleasant. The staff and owners were very friendly and when they heard I had returned after so long, they went out of their way to ensure I had a memorable evening. Even though they were fairly busy, the staff would keep an eye on my table to ensure everything was ok.

My colleagues and I have been meaning to visit this restaurant for some time now as we work nearby in long lane. We finally had the chance on monday evening.

After work we took a leisurely stroll down to Tower Bridge Road and upon arrival we were greeted with enthusiasm by 2 waiters dressed in smart red jackets and another chap who looked like the manager. Our coats were politely taken from us and we were seated at a table near the window.

A few minutes later a waiter came to take our drinks orders and the obligatory popadom order. The popadoms arrived nice and crisp and the dips tasted

Visited this restaurant recently while in the UK with work. Our UAE based company was staying at a hotel quite close. Could not fault the quality of the foods or the levels of service from the moment we entered the building to the moment we left on the two occasions we were there. We ate from the a la carte menu. I had the miny chicken tikka (excellant) and the chicken dum biryani (moist and flavoursome). Even the side dishes we had hit the spot (potatoes & chick peas my fave). Would definately visit again when in UK.

We ate there last weekend with mates,it was beyond doubt the best Indian food we've ever eaten . The staff were lovely, just on the right side of attentive, making the atmosphere very friendly for their customers. Really good...would definitely recommend! ;)

Visited The Tower Tandoori after the golden jubilee boat show. The staff were friendly and welcoming and fully explained the offers on the menu. There was a good choice of food and our starters and main course were excellent. We enjoyed the whole experience and would recommend it to others.

Food was really good and extraordinarily my young toddler loved their chicken korma; that the waiter recommended. The staff were very child friendly. This restaurant is becoming a favourite!

I had the opportunity to dine a number of times at the Tower Tandoori during a stay in London during 2001 and 2003, I found the food to be very good and authentic, The next time I visit London the Tower Tandoori will be one of the spots that I stop in and have a curry!!!

As a bermondsey local and a big fan of food!! the tower tandoori is one restaurant which i couldn't live without! i have been a local at this restaurant for more than five years and have watched it grow. the manager mr uddin along with his sons have reformed their restaurant into a touch of class with a major refurbishment, not only is the food exceptional but the service is also great. this is one restaurant which i recommend to everyone.
