Internationally renowned Culinary Art school, Le Cordon Bleu, has opened its first café in Europe. In a beautifully secluded courtyard around Bloomsbury Square and seconds away from the British Museum, Café Le Cordon Bleu is a part of the brand’s new International Flagship Institute.Café Le Cordon Bleu is open from 7am to 7pm Monday to Friday and 9am to 5pm on Saturdays offering freshly made patisserie (ie. éclairs, tartes au citron, jalousies), boulangerie (baguette, pain aux olives, pain de campagne) and viennoiserie (croissants, pains au chocolat, brioches à tête) throughout the day – all available to eat in or takeaway. In addition, a concise lunch menu is offered; dishes ranges from the Le Cordon Bleu Croque Monsieur or Madame to a variety of sandwiches to quiches, soupes and salades du Jour. All the food offered in Café Le Cordon Bleu is freshly made by Le Cordon Bleu Master Chefs.

I stopped in this lovely French bakery after visiting the British Museum, on my way to Holborn tube station. I had a beef sandwich and a delicious macaron for dessert. I will soon be back to try other nice pastries! I definitely recommend the place for lunch or a snack.

What a nice suprise; what a great café! Nice staff, amazing food and just loved the ''french'' athmosphere. Lovely for lunch, dinner or just coffee! Will be back for sure and strongly recommend it!
