This Bright Field

The food needs some improvement - one dish we had (soup) was way too salty, whilst another was very bland.

Staff were friendly but not very attentive (even though it was quiet when we went) - it would have been good if someone checked on us during the meal to see if our food was okay. I left most of my meal (for the first time ever in a restaurant!) and no-one queried why this was.

It was also quite pricey considering the small portions and they had run out of most of their soft drink options.

Perhaps we caught them on an off day, but I am not inclined to go back any time soon.

This Bright Field brings very classy English food to the area. The young chefs are innovative and creative. The staff are really friendly, efficient and knowledgable. The wines are top class. Full marks had our chairs not been too low for the tables and the lighting not a touch too bright.

The field of dreams more like! I tucked myself in here with 5 pals on a Saturday night and had a fantastic meal. Firstly the decor was immense! especially the bare lightbulbs setting the atmosphere. Staff were very friendly and accommodating and the food was the best of British. Must see A+++++++++

One of the best meals I've had! The restaurant is beautiful, it is spacious, colourful and fresh with a chilled out vibe. Front of house staff are efficient and friendly. The food is superb as is the selection of wine. Fantastic night!
