The team behind CABANA will soon be launching a third site. Jamie Barber and David Ponté are opting for Westfield White City, where they will build on the success of the existing restaurants at Westfield Stratford City, and Central St Giles.

The new 140-cover venue will retain the group’s signature vibrant, affordable and relaxed feel and will feature a terrace for alfresco dining.

Similar to its sister restaurants, the menu will offer Barber and Ponté’s take on the best of Brasil. Favourite street dishes include the delicious cheese dough balls known as Pao de Queijo as well as Crispy Pastels (pastry pockets stuffed with cheese) and Chicken Coxinhas (croquettes of shredded chicken and spices). CABANA’S popular colour coded barbecue skewers offer a variety of meat choices such as Spicy malagueta chicken, Pork tenderloin with parmesan crust and Chimichurri Black Gold Rump Steak. Also on the menu will be Ribs and Brasilian homeslaw, as featured at this year’s Ribstock, and the CABANA Brasilian Burger, a spicy malagueta chicken breast with avocado, tomato, lettuce and chilli mayonnaise in half a brioche bun topped with a grilled chilli. CABANA’s frozen yoghurt - in flavours ranging from Peanut Butter to Dulce de Leite - will be available throughout the day both to eat in and take away. The drinks list at CABANA champions Brasilian favourites, particularly the national drink of choice, Caipirinha, which comes in several flavours.

The decor for this place was funky, different & very apt.
The ribs were enormous & we had to ask for a doggy bag as we could not finish them.
The chicken malagueta squewer was also a huge portion & at £9.65 is a great Choice.
The service was attentive & really friendly, also the restaurant was not over busy for an xmas prelude which helped a lot.
We are big fans of Las Iguanos and thought although slightly pricier this place is on a par-but given the surroundings of Westfields W12 you could easily dismiss this.
We had a great time & definitely recommend it-just make sure you arrive hungry!
